Uploaded drawings, documents and the text of the message may also contain additional personal data. The user is responsible for ensuring that they only submit data and documents that they are authorised to disclose.

Vízvágás Kft. processes only the personal data required for contacting the user, responding to the quotation request and conducting preliminary consultations concerning the requested service.

The purposes of the data processing activities carried out through the Website by Vízvágás Kft. are:

  • examining uploaded DXF or PDF drawings;

  • assessing requirements relating to material grade, material thickness and quantity;

  • preparing a quotation for the requested service;

  • measuring the operation and effectiveness of the Website;

  • measuring the effectiveness and conversions of Google Ads advertisements.

The legal basis for processing contact and quotation request data is taking steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract, or the voluntary consent of the data subject.

The legal basis for using statistical and marketing cookies and Google Ads conversion measurement technologies is the user’s voluntary consent.

The user may withdraw their consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.

6. Storage of Personal Data

Personal data provided by users through the Website, including in particular names, email addresses, messages, technical information and uploaded documents in DXF or PDF format, is stored by Vízvágás Kft. for the purposes of managing contact requests and quotation requests.

Personal data may be stored on appropriately protected devices and email systems operated by Vízvágás Kft., as well as on the servers of the hosting service provider.

Vízvágás Kft. retains personal data only for the period necessary to fulfil the purpose of the processing or for the period required by the applicable legislation.

8. Rights of Data Subjects and the Exercise of Those Rights

Right to Restriction of Processing

9.1. Right to Bring Court Proceedings

If the rights of the data subject are infringed, the data subject may bring court proceedings. At the data subject’s choice, proceedings may also be initiated before the regional court having jurisdiction according to the data subject’s place of residence or temporary residence.

9.2. Data Protection Authority Proceedings

The data subject may lodge a complaint concerning the processing of their personal data with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

10. Other Provisions

Vízvágás Kft. informs users that authorities acting under applicable legislation, including in particular courts, public prosecutors, the police, the tax authority or other public authorities, may request the disclosure of personal data in the cases specified by law.

Vízvágás Kft. discloses personal data to public authorities only on the basis of an official request supported by an appropriate legal basis and only to the extent strictly necessary to fulfil the purpose of the request.
